## About

Gerda is a contemporary artist working in oil and acrylic on canvas. Her work explores women in water — jumping, swimming, suspended, reflected in surface light. She is interested in the moment of transition between elements, and in female physicality outside the objectifying gaze.

The "Jumps" series (2023–) depicts women from behind, in motion, in free gesture — not posing, but living. Works are held in private collections across Europe and the USA.
